Avery Brewer (Butler)

Avery Brewer is a fourth year member and second year Captain of the Butler University Dance Team in Indianapolis, Indiana. She began dancing at two years old with her home studio in Lexington, Kentucky, where she trained in all styles of dance. She was accepted into the School for the Creative and Performing Arts in fourth grade and studied ballet until graduating. As a four-year member and co-captain of the Lafayette High School Dance Team in Lexington, Kentucky, she won two state championships in pom and jazz and placed Top 5 at UDA Nationals. She has competed at UDA college nationals the past three years at Butler, and this past year helped lead the team to their first D1 Jazz finals appearance. Avery also choreographs and teaches at local competitive dance studios in both Indianapolis and Kentucky, working with all age and skill levels.
