Staff
Sara Insko is a freshman at Ole Miss, in her rookie season with the Rebelettes. A Lexington, KY Native, she has been dancing since she could walk and has done competitive dance since age 7, ending her senior year at Lexington Dance Factory. From 2021-2024, she was a 3-time KHSAA State Champion in both Jazz and Pom categories with the Lafayette High School Varsity Dance Team coached by Cara Terry Purcell and Jamie Harvener. Her other accomplishments include the 2024 Miss Dance of the Bluegrass title (Dance Masters of America Chapter 40), a Platinum National Dance Competition Apprentice (2021-2025), 1st Place National Dance Competition Winner, as well as many more. Sara has found that teaching is one of her passions as well, and has been teaching privates since 2023 to dancers aged 6 and up, but particularly focusing on ages 9 and up. Her students have succeeded at both regional and national level, (highlights include: Top Overall Placements, Competition Winners, Improv Competition Winners, Apprenticeship Positions, High School Dance Team Members, etc.) She is excited for this new chapter to continue sharing her love of dance!
